Baked beef burgers in mushrooms and cheese

This is one of those 2 in 1 dishes where you get both a main and a side dish from one pan.



Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 500 grams minced beef

  • 1/2 tsp salt, dash of pepper

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 300 grams button mushrooms, sliced

  • 200 grams sour cream

  • 100 grams mozzarella + a bit extra for the topping

  • Spices: salt, pepper, parsley, chilly


Preparation:

  • First prepare the burger patties, stir the meat with 1/2 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper and form 4 patties

  • In the cast iron skillet, on 2 tbsp butter, fry the patties on both sides (on medium flame)

  • Once the patties are finished, move them aside on a plate

  • Add 2 more tbsp butter and fry the onions until translucent

  • Add the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper and cook for about 10 minutes, until the mushrooms are cooked

  • Remove from the stove, and add 200 grams of sour cream mixed with 100 grams mozzarella and stir everything together

  • Place the burger patties back to the skillet, cover with the sauce and top with grated cheese and parsley

  • Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes, until golden
