Broccoli, cheese & chicken casserole

 Yummy Keto broccoli, cheese & chicken casserole 


For the chicken:

  • 400 grams chicken breast, diced

  • 5 tbsp olive oil

  • Spices: 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp parsley, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp garlic and if you like spicy food you’ll need some crushed chilies

For the casserole:

  • 300 grams broccoli (frozen or fresh)

  • little salt

  • 5 oz cooking cream or greek yogurt

  • 150 grams grated mozzarella (strength 1)

  • grated cheddar cheese to sprinkle over the casserole

  • some butter for the baking dish


  • Mix 3 tbsp olive oil with all the spices in a bowl, add the chicken, mix it up and let it marinade for 1 - 2 hours

  • Cook the broccoli with some salt. When cooked, drain it and let it rest until you cook the chicken

  • Add 2 tbsp olive oil to a frying pan, heat it up for a minute and than add the marinaded chicken

  • Fry it for 4-5 minutes on medium, then add the cooking cream and cook on medium to low for about 5-6 minutes. Stir it occasionally

  • Turn off the heat and mix the cooked chicken with already cooked broccoli.

  • Add mozzarella and try your dish to check if you need to spice it up more

  • Butter the baking dish, add the broccoli-chicken and sprinkle with some grated cheddar on top

  • Bake in the preheated oven on 180°c for about 15 minutes, until it gets brown on top Serve with some fresh salad and enjoy ❤️
