Keto chocolate cake bites

This is one more easy recipe and it’s without any kind of keto flour. I used a small baking tin and got 46 pieces, it’s hard to control yourself around these. :)

If the cake is cut into 40 squares, nutrition facts per piece are:

Calories: 66

Total carbs: 2.8 g

Net carbs: 2.2 g

Fat: 5.3 g

Protein: 1.1 g



• 5 eggs

• 100 g dark chocolate (min 70% of cocoa)

• 4 tbsp sweetener

• 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

• 1/2 tsp baking powder


• 125 g chocolate

• 250 g mascarpone Optional:

• some sweetener, depending on your taste • desiccated coconut to sprinkle over the cake (you can also use diced nuts)


• Preheat the oven at 180°

• Separate the egg whites from yolks in two bowls

• Mix the egg whites with 1 tbsp cider vinegar until firm

• In another bowl, mix the egg yolks with 4 tbsp sweetener and 1/2 tsp baking powder until fluffy

• Melt 100 g chocolate in the microwave, stir well and leave it to cool off. Once cooled, add the chocolate to the egg yolks. Mix until combined and then, using a spatula, gently fold in the egg whites

• Pour the batter on the parchment paper in a baking tin and bake for about 30 minutes at 180°C

• Once baked, leave the cake in the baking dish to cool for about 10 minutes and start preparing the cream

• In the microwave, melt 125 g chocolate and stir well

• Stir 250 g of mascarpone in the melted chocolate and mix until combined in a nice velvety cream. Taste to see if you need any sweetener

• Apply the cream over the base with a spatula and sprinkle with some coconut

• Leave the cake to rest for at least an hour before serving it
