Deviled eggs are a really simple dish to make and the biggest challenge is to cook your eggs right.
I made these with 2 types of filling, regular and tuna but there are many add ons that you can choose from, like chicken, crab meat, ham - depending on your liking.
If you are doing an egg fast, deviled eggs are one of the tasty meals you can add to your menu. In this case, you could only use mayo, butter, and yolks with the right combination of seasoning.
6 eggs (same size)
1 can of tuna in olive oil (i used the Shines Wild Irish tuna) - skip if you want regular deviled eggs or add a different add on instead
2-3 tbsp of mayonnaise
1 tbsp mustard
Few chives stems, chopped
Seasoning: salt, pepper, paprika, hot chili powder
Bring a pot of water to boil, add a pinch of salt and carefully add the eggs
Boil the eggs for about 12 minutes and then remove them from water and cool them right away either in an ice bath (a bowl filled with a handful of ice and water) or under the running tap water
After cooling, peel the eggs and slice each egg in half, lengthwise
Scoop the yolks in a bowl, add mayo and 1 tbsp mustard, and mash until combined. Add the chopped chives and flaked tuna and season to your taste
Using a teaspoon or a zip bag/piping bag, fill each egg with the yolk mix and sprinkle with some chili and fresh herbs
