Green beans and beef

Garlic & butter green beans and minced beef 🥰 I could eat this every day


Beef mince:

• 500 grams minced beef

• 1 small onion

• 1 tbsp butter

• spices: 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 tsp hot chilly powder, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp cumin

• 200 ml water

• 2 tbsp tomato puree

• optionally: few spoons of your favorite hot sauce

Green beans:

• 500 grams green beans

• 2 tbsp butter

• 1 garlic clove

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• salt


• saute diced onion on 1 tbsp melted butter (medium to low temperature) for a few minutes

• add the beef and fry with occasional stir until brown

• add water, tomato and spices and cook on medium to low until all the liquid has evaporated (you need just a bit of thick sauce at the end)

• optionally, when cooked, stir in a few spoons of your favorite hot sauce

While the sauce is cooking, prepare the green beans:

• Cook the green beans in water with a pinch of salt and then drain them well

• melt 2 tbsp butter in a pot, add garlic and fry for 2 minutes

• add the beans, pinch of salt and garlic powder and stir fry for a few minutes

Top the green beans with beef mince and grate some Parmesan or cheddar on top
