Keto breaded chicken fillets

Yes, breaded food is still keto, we just have to choose the breading wisely.

In this version, chicken is breaded with crushed pork scratchings which have almost no carbs, and sesame seeds which are low carb and high fat.


  • 500 grams mini chicken fillets

  • 1/2 cup crushed pork scratching or pork rinds, crushed

  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

  • salt

  • 1/2 tsp hot chili powder (optional)

  • some olive oil


  • Lightly salt the fillets and leave them to rest

  • In one bowl, whisk 1 egg and 1 tbsp of mayonnaise, add hot chili powder or any other seasoning you prefer

  • In another bowl, stir the crushed pork scratchings with a tbsp of sesame seeds

  • In a third bowl or on a plate, prepare the rest of the sesame seeds

  • Dip the fillets in the next order:

1. egg wash

2. crushed pork scratchings

3. egg wash

4. sesame seeds

If you don't like sesame seeds, dip the chicken in pork scratchings in step 4

  • Place the breaded chicken on the parchment paper, leaving some room in between pieces

  • Sprinkle the pieces with some olive oil

  • Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes, until they have a nice golden color

  • Serve with your favorite dip
