Keto chili con carne
If you like spicy food, try this easy to make keto chili con carne.
It's perfect in combination with cauliflower rice.
The secret of the perfect chili con carne is cooking it low and slow which will give you the perfect flavor.
2 tbsp olive oil
500 g minced beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 chili pepper, finely chopped
1 celery stick, finely chopped
3 slices of bell pepper, finely chopped (i used one slice red, one yellow and one slice green bell pepper)
300 ml of tomato passata
Spices: 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp hot chili powder, 1 tsp garlic powder
Finely chop the veggies (onion, garlic, celery, chili, tomato and bell peppers) and fry on 2 tbsp olive oil for a few minutes, until soft (stir regularly).
Add the minced beef and cook on medium, stirring regularly, until the meat is browned
Add the tomato passata, bring to boil, add the spices and simmer on low for with a lid slightly open for at least an hour. For the best flavor, simmer for at least 2 hours.
