Keto savory cheese and zucchini pie

This pie can easily be served as a dinner or as an salty dessert. It is a perfect zucchini & cheese combo, light, salty and delicious, hot or cold.


  • 300 grams cottage cheese

  • 200 grams sour cream

  • 2 zucchinis (regular size)

  • 100 grams coconut flour (if you have desiccated coconut, just process it a bit in your food processor)

  • 2 eggs

  • Salt

  • Some Parmesan for the topping


  • Grate the zucchinis and leave them to rest for about 10 minutes

  • In another bowl stir the cottage cheese with sour cream and salt it. Taste to see if it's in accordance with your taste and don't over-salt it because the Parmesan will give it another salty layer later

  • Add the eggs and coconut flour to the cheese mixture and stir until combined

  • Squeeze the zucchinis to get rid of any extra water and add to the cheese mixture

  • Pour on a greased parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes

  • After 40 minutes, take the pie out, cover it with a thin layer of grated Parmesan and bake for 10 - 15 minutes more
