Keto pork chops in spicy sauce 🔥

Soft and tender pork chops in spicy jalapeno, onions, garlic, and tomato sauce.

It takes a bit longer to cook it but it's time well invested.


This dish goes great with cauliflower rice or just served with some fresh veggies.


Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, diced (or more depending on the taste)

  • 2 tbsp smoked bacon bits

  • 4 boneless pork chops

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 200 ml of water

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp sweet pepper

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp coriander

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • Salt


Preparation:

  • Heat 4 tbsp olive oil on medium and fry the pork chops until browned on both sides

  • Transfer the browned pork chops on a plate, cover and leave to rest

  • Add the diced onion to the pan and cook until translucent

  • Add garlic and bacon bits and cook for about 2 more minutes

  • Stir in 200 ml of water, diced jalapeno, and 2 tbsp tomato concentrate

  • Once it boils, add seasoning and pork chops, reduce the flame to low, cover and simmer for about an hour, until the gravy gets thick and pork chops soft

  • Taste to see if you need more seasoning
