Quick and easy homemade pesto
Fresh basil is available in almost every good grocery store so why not buy it, grow it and use it for some homemade pesto.

Ingredients:
• 40 g fresh basil leaves
• 2 garlic cloves
• 30 g nuts (pine nuts, walnuts, pecans,..)
• 2 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
• 30 g parmesan, grated
• Seasoning: salt and pepper
• olive oil
Preparation: • Add lemon juice, garlic, and a bit of salt to your food processor and pulse for a few seconds. Add basil leaves, nuts, parmesan, and about 1 tbsp olive oil and process until it has the right consistency. Add seasoning to your taste and more olive oil and parmesan, depending on your liking.
