"Spaghetti" bolognese

No pasta on keto? No problem 😋 Try this Keto spaghetti bolognese recipe


For spaghetti:

  • 2 courgettes/ zucchinis 

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Spices: salt, pepper, and garlic

For bolognese:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  •  500 g minced beef

  • 3 tbsp diced ham or bacon

  • 1 medium-size onion, finely chopped

  • 1/2 bell pepper (red, green or yellow), finely chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 1,5 tbsp tomato puree

  •  3,5 oz of cooking cream

  • Seasoning: 1 tsp dried oregano, 1 tsp dried basil, chili powder, salt and pepper Optional: Parmesan cheese

You'll also need: 

  • 2 pans

  • Vegetable spiralizer

If you don't have a spiralizer, you can: 1. use the vegetable peeler to cut the zucchini into thin slices and then cut the slices with a knife into noodles 2. use the box grater and carefully grate the zucchinis into spaghetti Preparation:

  • Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to a large frying pan on medium heat and fry the onions, diced garlic and bacon for 2 minutes (stir it so it doesn't burn)

  • Add the minced meat and diced bell pepper and stir until the meat is brown

  • Add the tomato pure and cooking cream

  • Bring to boil, turn down the heat to low and cook for 15 minutes

  • Season with salt, pepper, oregano, basil and chilly and cook on low for an additional 5 minutes.

  • While bolognese is cooking, add 1 tbsp of olive oil to another frying pan and add the zucchini spaghetti. Season the zucchini with salt, pepper and garlic and fry them for 2 minutes on low heat. . Enjoy ❤️
