Spicy chicken wings


Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken wings

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp melted butter

  • 2 tbsp tomato puree

  • 1 tbsp vinegar

  • 1 tsp sweetener (I used stevia)

  • Seasoning: Salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic, 1,5 tsp cayenne pepper, crushed chili

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven at 200°C/390°F

  • Lightly salt the chicken wings and put them in a big bowl

  • In a smaller bowl, mix together pepper, garlic and cayenne pepper with 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp melted butter, 2 tbsp tomato puree, 1 tbsp vinegar and 1 tbsp sweetener and stir until combined.

  • Pour the sauce mix over the chicken wings and toss them well

  • Grease your baking dish and line the wings in a single layer, optionally sprinkle with some crushed chili

  • Bake for about 25 minutes on one side and then flip them and bake for the remaining time until they are crispy

  • Sprinkle with some chives and serve with your favorite sauce
