Keto buns

These buns are made from fathead dough which you can also use for pizza, sausage rolls, bread sticks,...

It's a really simple, quick and tasty solution for your baked goods cravings.


• 250 grams full fat grated mozzarella • 100 grams almond flour/meal • 3 tbsp cream cheese • 1/2 tbsp baking soda/powder • pinch of salt • 2 eggs • butter • poppy seeds or sesame You’ll also need: • a microwave safe bowl or a plate • a baking dish


  • Mix the grated mozzarella, almond flour and cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl or on a plate

  • Microwave it for a minute then stir it and microwave for 1 more minute (depending on your microwave strength - cheese mix needs to be soft enough so you can form the dough)

  • Add baking soda, salt and 1 egg and mix everything together (you can do it with your hands or in the food processor)

  •  Divide your dough into 6 equal portions and form the bagels

  •  Butter up your baking dish, line the bagels in and top them with a beaten egg (about 1/4 tsp egg) and poppy seeds or sesame seeds

  •  bake on 180°C for 15 - 20 minutes (until golden brown)

*if you don’t have almond flour in your store, you can buy regular almonds and just ground them in your food processor Enjoy ❤️
